What an exciting time! To make sure we are a good fit with your family, please be sure to read through our office policies ahead of time. If you have made a decision that you'd like to establish care with our clinic, please call our office so we can give you further information on what happens once your baby is born!

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that you pick a pediatrician to act as your child’s primary care provider. This pediatrician will provide your child with a medical home, which is a model in which patients have a relationship with their physician over a long period of time. By establishing a medical home for your child, you establish a relationship with your pediatrician who knows your child and his/her history and is able to follow your child’s development and progress. Picking a pediatrician that you get along with and trust is crucial to providing quality care for your child.

As you prepare for delivery, along with childbirth classes, breastfeeding classes, and parenting classes, be sure to carve out some time to research pediatricians. If you decide to continue using Over the Moon Pediatrics for your child’s pediatric care, it will be important to be sure that Dr. Michelle Suhendra is included in your insurance plan.
